Album Title - Gutter Epiphanies

Blonde Boy Wilson

Once upon a time (1988) a troubled young artist put together a hell of an allstar recording band to record 5 of his beyond category songs. Bass luminary Reggie Workman, James Brown's and Joey Miserable's trumpeter Hollie Farris. The Late Great Dave S Ware on tenor. Tony Map drums.. Fred Wolcott percussion.Felice Rosser and Diana Baker as well as Sailor Man Jack back up vocals. Jay Wilson on guitar and vocals. Having ascended the creative summit I lost my identity and found a new one Blonde Boy Wilson. The rest of Gutter Epiphanies is in the language of drum beats and basslines and my own take on poetry and rap augmented and inspired by the backing vocals of Rashawn and Dimetrius Rucker, Felice Rosser and Diana Baker. The Beekeeper had arrived with an important and seminal tree falling in the forest.
